Sharkey isn't James Dobson and his wife nice? We met them years ago at a Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship Retreat. I just enjoyed them immensely and he was such a great speaker.
I just got back from the Grocery store. Lordy what a job. It is a Royal Mess. My daughter and son in law had free tickets to a Hockey Game tonight and needed a babysitter. I said I'm not driving to the other side of town. David said, I'll take the bus in and babysit but you'll have to drive me home. Rob yelled from the back, "Marlise, we're not going"!! Nobody wants to drive tonight I'm sure. LOL Bummer, they get free tickets and can't use them.
Oh, my. We are having such a storm. It doesn't snow here, but the wind is howling around the house and the rain is coming down in sheets! I'm really hating it. We've had so much rain, there is water standing in the back yard.
Oh my Mo!! I hope it's just a short "separation"!! Nowadays tho a lot of folks just won't work at it.
My husband growled when he came in from shovelling saying something about living in Mexico LOL!!

I know I saw on TV this morning that Southern CA is expecting some slides from so much rain. I think Northern California is getting some snow tho. I mean more northern than you. Your sort of in the Bay area right?
Very much in the bay area - east bay, Walnut Creek - Concord area. It is just POURING.
she's doing pretty good and her spirits are up, so that's good.
She and my brother were able to go to her parents for Christmas, which she was glad they could. It took a bit longer because they had to break up the driving .. She can't sit still in the car for more then an hour at a time. So the made a lot of stops.
She also started her radiation and chemo this week, she said it was a lot easier then she thought it would be .. I guess she was expecting it to be a lot worse.
And my brother picked up a wig for her to wear.
So all in all and considering everything she been through .. she's doing pretty good
She says she needs to be a lone and do things for herself for a change.
She says she's just taking one day at a time and see what happens ..
I'm wondering how my MIL is handling this .. she is gonna Freak Out
At least you don't have to shovel the rain Cheri. I know it causes other problems though and by the sounds of things, it will.
You will no doubt soon hear how your MIL is taking the news!! MIL's don't usually have a habit of keeping their feelings to themselves LOL
