I'm not sure what I'm s'posed to put in the corners - what do you fill dry wall corners with? Some sort of caulking? There's nothing there now - the first layer was wall paper, so they never bothered with any kind of fill.

Mudding and taping is hard. Would a painted corner molding cover it?

That's kinda what I was hoping...that it was just a matter of covering it or filling it.

I'm not really working for perfection. I figure whoever buys the house will likely redo everything - the rest of the rooms need even MORE work, which I ain't gonna do. But it at least needs to look...like something other than bare wall.
