Better not. I'm hopin' she'll make lembas-muffins...
*alas*
Cornbread goes really well with chili.
I know. I said that on your behalf.
There's no cremy filling in Tolkien!
The food was mostly in the form of very thin cakes, made of a meal that was baked a light brown on the outside, and inside was the colour of cream.
I think creme fillings would make big messes when smashed in pocketses.... not very practical for the road. ;~D
Good Evening - regarding lifting the pot lid during cooking, it's simply something that ~ needs ~ to be done.
LSA made the Seinfeld's Soup Nazi's Indian Mulligatwany Soup. Simmered to perfection over the course of 5 hours with the lid OFF. Hmmmmm. That's GREAT soup.
Twinkies....Elves
Makes sense to me!
Okay, back later. Chili and lembas-muffins are done.
(and I dug out some stuff I need to work on anyway)
Dude - you are good, something like three minutes to find, attach and post. Amazing..
Lurkers on the NC board will understand.
The wind came from the Northeast, and the ground at the Northeast corner of our house has been scoured of snow. A few feet to the Northeast of the corner the snow is piled up almost 3'! The front yard doesn't have too much drifting, but at this point the snow is piled up almost 5' at the end of the driveway courtesy of the town snow plows. SSQ is just now getting around to going out to plow. Good thing the thrower has a headlight! ;o)
You don't need my shovel...
Nope, she's not.
