The Hobbit Hole XVIII - Though we pass them by today...
The Freeper Hobbit Hole ^

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Though we pass them by today...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Yes, with a hint of a reggae steel-drum kind of mango thing going on.

I think I could. Jr. would have to be here. And he has to do the production to be able to go on tour. I figure they sorta "owe" me for Slovakia and Brazil.

And, they actually do the production two nights, so I could see it on Monday.

I'd hate that it's one more opportunity for y'all not to meet the Mrs. and Luke. But that may have to wait for Entmoot 06...

I just figgered out that's the same weekend as Jr's youth production.

Yeah, so? It's not too late to cancel out of that, is it? ;~)

Bruce doesn't look much like Sam, but maybe he doesn't want to

There once was a hobbit that lived in a sand dune. . . a sand pile. . .a sand drift. . .

Nah. He won't ditch the production. And I don't blame him.

I just checked though. I need to make a decision soon 'cause I can get round trip from Richmond for $249.

Of course it's U.S.Scare....

You can't get life insurance on another person without that person's consent (obviously does not apply to children). Just beware if she offers you Irish Car Bombs some day after she's been to Town alone... or hope your signature is truly illegible if you're drunk.

Hmm. Wonder if she could forge your signature...

BUT, you know after Entmoot, he considers y'all his friends too.

I'm still not going to do it again, my dad would ~never~ do the whole summer's work and the float plane again, so this whole scenario of yours is built on a house of cards ;~D
