New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Good morning all, have to take Rose to work, back later...
Then to two banks, to
(a) deposit the paycheck,
(2) find out 'zackly how much my car payoff is (less than $200) and
(b) pay it!
I have a license plate frame I bought for a $250 '73 Torino in 1988-- "Don't Laugh, It's Paid For". Since then it has been on three other cars. It will be bolted onto my '97 Sunfire soon.
'Morning!
I thought about taking the car for servicing but since it's 12 degrees outside I decided againste it. It's mid 30's in my garage. So I guess I'll just do the flylady thing today. Then maybe I'll stare at my pictures and decide where to hang them.
Mornin'
Gonna mostly clean up stuff here in theoffice today. Think I'll put themovie in whilst I do it.
I've got the Stooges on now. I might just watch basketball all day....we're playing Wake Forest this afternoon.
Maybe I'll back up the hard drive today.....
but then again, maybe not. :)
I need another cup of coffee.
Baby's name is Megan.
She is very cute, and growing fast. It's a little unfamiliar to see Sonya and Tim running around trying to manage life with one of them always holding the baby.
Good morning everyone!
Good Morning!

Good morning.... I was just out feeding our squirrels. They were complaining that I had slept in and was late :~D
Congrats on Sam's returning to the house! I wouldn't dare let Gypsy (or Samantha either) off-leash in the front yard.
hehehe....my squirrels look a little chilly this morning.
Morning OT - yup, it's 'brisk' out there, just got back from getting the Highlander serviced. Drove it around a bit to get it warmed up thoroughly so the oil will flow out. Visited a bit and it was done. I was impressed.
Morning - pay 'em off and drive 'em till they don't drive no more. Good way to handle a continually depreciating asset. btw, thanks for breakfast.
Now I feel guilty! I thought about taking thecar in this morning but decided I'd rather stay in my warm bed instead.
Lurking on this thread last week inspired me to begin to decrap my house today.
For those of you who were discussing domestic decrapping, I say, Thank-you.
Got an e-mail from my big brother last night. His newest granddaughter, Madelynn Diane, is coming home from the hospital today! She was born Oct. 17th, at 26 wks, weighing 1 lb. 7 oz. She's now at 4 1/2 pounds and is doing great! They are so thrilled to finally bring her home.
Thanks, everyone, for your prayers.
OT-don't feel guilty, there is a weekend every 4 or 5 days or so. Guess I shouldn't mention that it's clean now as well. :-)
At least mine is relatively clean. Maybe I'll take it first thing next Saturday....if it isn't too cold!
Wow.... very good news.
Dang!
I need to decrap the pantry....didn't realize I was out of onions and I want to make chicken stock today!
Morning everyone.
So, Osage, do you make your own strings, I guess? :-)
