What are your thoughts on the status of the Earth? Do you feel global warming is a real threat? The quote "Treat the Earth well. It was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children." is a very very true statement I believe. My fear is that the more we treat the Earth as a place for the current generation, the worse off the Earth will become for our grandchildren and their grandchildren. How can we as a world community come together to protect the Earth better and to leave as much of its natural beauty for our future generations to also enjoy and protect?

I think we should strip mine half of it, and turn the other half into golf courses.

Environmental responsibility is one thing, but using junk science like Global Warming to fear monger people into taking actions which may ultimately prove to be even more irresponsible is entirely another.

Status - unknown
Global warming - perhaps.. man made - doubtful

Yes.
The Bible puts it in our hands to shepherd (sheer) and use wisely.
Not treat as a "holy entity", but to use it to help all mankind by improving their economic freedom and personal freedoms in a capitalistic way that manges resources wisely.

It is quite arrogant to think that mankind has the power to save or destroy the world.
