I agree. I don't know if you are or were a Nick @ Nite fan but that channel has gone down hill too. I used to love watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Taxi, Dick Van Dyke, Newhart- shows far better than anything on TV today. But now it is ridiculously stupid, playing shows like Roseanne 4 times a night and Full House 5 times.

I'm only 20 years old and never got to experience the great old shows first hand so I really used to love Nick @ Nite. :O(

Now I have to buy all the old shows on boxed-set DVDs.

I think TV Land is jumping the shark too, showing the same over and over again. Sure, I like Green Acres, Leave it to Beaver, I Dream of Jeannie, and so on, but they run it into the ground. Earlier this year, I loved their late Friday and Saturday night "kitsch" section showing the old Krofft Shows (H.R. Pufenstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Lidsville and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl) along with some of the old Filmation live action series like "Shazam" and "Isis." Shazam was about an older man and a young, late teens/early 20 something man travelling around the country in a Winnebago and when the younger man said, "Shazam," he changed into Captain Marvel. Isis was a school teacher who went to Egypt, found an ancient amulet and she had the ability to change into Isis where she can fly and control the weather. Sometimes Shazam and Isis would team up.

I was born in 1966, I'm 38 so I watched a lot of these old shows growing up. I think the Cartoon Channel was ruined with a lot of the new stuff, although the anime segments are cool, but on the other hand, too much Scooby Doo. I think maybe it has to do with the rights to air the shows, maybe they've expired or something, that would be my guess.

Yeah, exactly. I was so excited when I first heard the prospect of TV Land but I was quickly dissapointed. I believe they show Gunsmoke like, 10 times a day! It is almost impossible to find those great old shows that never, ever jumped the shark unless you buy them on DVD. I know when I have kids someday I'm never letting them watch any of the crap thats on TV now, they can watch moms DVD collection, lol.

The only show I like on cartoon network anymore is Family Guy but I think they only play it late at night. I used to like Space Ghost, I don't know if you remember that show, but I don't think they play it anymore.
