We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Benard Kerik had a conversation with President Bush and afterwards withdrew from consideration for being the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Sprint and NEXTEL have reached a tentative deal to merge worth $36 billion.

A study has been released that show fewer teens engaging in sex.

Justice Rehnquist, despite issues surrounding his health, will swear in President Bush for his second term.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

According to the advisory here it will be put into effect from 3:00 P.M. today until 3:00 A.M. tomorrow morning.

I could hear it picking up overnight. (The wind, not the advisory...)

One of the great things we have on the computer is a program called Weather Bug. It gives you the temp, and updates right on the tool bar. When a warning comes out the bug chirps like a crickett.

Daughter Kathryn was in for 3 months in 93 before we brought her home.

She wouldn't be here without those wonderful people in the neonatal units. They are angels themselves.

Since Emily is the first little one in your family and she's not going to fuss about a sparce Christmas this year, just cut back.

If you go to the deli section of your supermarket you can buy fudge, divinity, peanut brittle, and a selection of quick breads. (If you do this on the sly, you can switch them to your own containers and discard the plastic stuff from the supermarket and no one will be the wiser).

Likewise, you can pick up tons of stuff ready for the oven in the deli section. Think turkey dressing (which can also be transfered to your own caserole dish). There are tons of things you can do to cut back on your own stress in an effort to be all things to all people (a malady I suffer from and I suspect you do too!!)

I did't get to redo the spritz because my brother had come in with the kids.

Now i'm waiting for this damn migraine to go away to resume the baking.

Hi Nita!

I hope things are going well with you.

Betsy and I went to a Christmas concert a few nights ago.

The group is Cherish The Ladies, a Celtic band, and most of the women are from Ireland. It was a wonderful evening of Christmas carols and Celtic tunes. (I see they will be in different parts of New York over the next few months. They are certainly a group worth seeing.)

Take that, ACLU. Our town square has several nativity scenes and related scenes. We have to have nativity scenes in everyone's yards.

Someone posted a recipe for fudge using 2 bags of chocolate chips and condensed milk. I forgot to print it out and now I can't find it.

Do any of you remember it?

Thanks.
