I'm in a debate with a DUmmy and would appreciate recommendations of good sites that address econ issues. I've used the BLS site, but would like conservative sites that offer data and analysis.
You do, of course, realize that we are completely doomed.
Yeah, at least according to the libs.
A "debate" with a DUmmy ain't possible...your premise, then, is oxymoronic at best, futile at worst..
Thanks. Looking for a site more US oriented.
Interesting.
Starwind has an excellent economics page.
Good point. I regularly nail him so bad that he quits responding. Now I want to drive the final stake into the heart. Could really use info of historical consumer debt vs. income.
I was being sarcastic. The economy is on a on fire, but many ignore the facts.
Glad you realized that my comment was tongue in cheek. I was NOT disparaging you, though you might have more success, and enjoyment, talking to a wall..

More enjoyment-yes. This guy used to work for me and now he has his own blog, I love embarrassing the hell out of him.
Thanks. I know about econlib. Will look at the rest.
then YOU really need a hobby, dude.....LOL
Without a doubt.

I looked at some of your links. Thanks. I have a degree in Economics and the book lists, though appreciated, are not exactly what I'm looking for. Mostly, I'm looking for a site that provides concise and centralized data that has some analysis.
Oh, then you need a more sophisticated group to pick the brains of, IMCO. Here's one: http://genius.ucsd.edu/~john/p/libuniv_dir/libprofs.html
