Lee and Jackie Peterson have a lien on it for $100,000. The house remains in the possesion of Scott Peterson and his heirs for the time being. That should change shortly as Sharon Rocha has a pending civil case against Scott Peterson and has filed a notice of action on the house.

Unfortunately, it also means he will be able to actually get married and have conjugal visits, possibly father a child, who will along with his bride, become dependent on California's welfare system.

Do they get conjugal visits on death row?

But will he reveal the name of the REAL killer as he promised at the trial's beginning?

LOL...that's what I've been waiting for for two years!

Say, who is the mystery witness tomorrow?

"I can't see how a jury could choose to spare his life without Scott's professing remorse, admitting and accepting his guilt. And he can't do that now. In effect, Geragos' strategery has screwed his client..Nice touch, eh?

That little drama will come later.

Now that he has been convicted, I am wondering if that $100,000 loan (which, of course, is a pittance compared to what this case cost them) cannot be secured by that house.

He is not suppose to benefit in any way from her death; I wonder if that includes his defense.

I think so - one of the Menendez brothers got married, I believe he gets conjugal visits. I vaguely remember that even the "Night Stalker" who terrorized the LA area in the mid-80's got married also. I'll research it and see if I can find out.

Here's what I found out:

Charles "Tex" Watson, 58, the lead killer during the two-night rampage, is serving a life sentence at Mule Creek State Prison. He was convicted of seven counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. He has been denied parole 13 times.

A born-again Christian, he founded his own prison ministry, Abounding Love Ministries. Watson has said that the more he has taken responsibility for his role in the killings, the more he forgives Manson and even prays for him. He listens to Christian music and radio.

His wife, Kristin, and his four children live near the prison. Watson has become controversial within the California prison system. "Watson fathered all these kids from conjugal visits," says Aaron, "and people started wondering, 'What is going on? We let convicted murderers father kids while incarcerated?'"

However, California no longer allows conjugal visits for prisoners convicted of murder. "That's because of Watson," Aaron notes. "They took away conjugal visits for lifers because of Watson's exploits."

I wasn't aware that the law had been changed, and Watson isn't on Death Row, but he is obviously a lifer.

Have you seen this woman walking. She has a normal gait. She is not dyspneic. I have no doubt that she used to smoke 2 pack of cigaretts a day and has some emphysema, but she is normal color as she briskly walks downs the street, even fast enough to try to evade the press. The nasal canula is a prop. I have treated enough COPD patients to know when I am looking at a person short of breath. She aint it.

what are the odds that an appeal is filed alleging "inadequate representation?"

Zero, Zilch, Nada.

He's an experienced, seasoned attorney.

I saw a case where the defendant wanted his guilty verdict overturned (or a new trial), b/c his attorney slept through most of the trial and didn't cross examine witnesses.

Said defendant did not get a new trial or overturned verdict.

The judge said the attorney was "competent."

On more than a few occasions media people have publicly asked the Peterson's what they think about their attorneys performance. They always answered that he was doing a great job.
