Nah. I can think of better ways to waste my time. The DUmmies aren't worth the bandwidth consumption.

There's a site called Democratic Underground? I've never heard of it. < /sarcasm >

Seriously, I'd hear more intelligent conversations in a room full of corky's [think 'life goes on'] than in any thread on the DU.

Sometimes, I go over there to enjoy their misery. I hear the Germans have a word for that (Leave it to those Germans, It's like they have a different word for everything)but I'm from a red state, so I'm obviously too dumb and racist to know it. When we're to oppressing people, we're suppressing their votes.

It's only fun to log in to DU after we win elections. That forum also gives me BIG ammo to use on meandering liberals. The line about the DU topic "Which was more depressing: 9/11/01 or 11/03/04?" receiving more 75% votes for the later will get most fence-sitters to seriously reconsider the core of their own party. Once they start hearing about the traitor-like ideology of their own party, start in with taxes and security and you have a new conservative, without the mugging.

Wow! Thanks for the URL! Found an interesting news story when I went over there to take a quick gander--a story about a doctor in China who "...cultivates the cells of aborted foetuses and injects them into the brains and spines of his patients." and--whoa, now!--even "anti-abortion" Christians from the United States travel to communist, atheist China to be injected by the doctor? Check out the story at the following URL:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/china/story/0,7369,1363339,00.html

If anybody else (besides me) thinks that story should be posted as NEWS, please post it as such--I can't figure out how to do it myself. Anyway--

Thanks again for the URL, Free and Armed. I think I might take a quick look-see again over there--when I have more time. Right now, I'm going to make a printout of that China story to read offline.

Better yet: troll there as a Moby liberal: basically, be as over-the-top looney-tunes leftist as you can. Demand that government shoot Bill Gates, his wife, and his kids, and seize Microsoft. Post about how good it was that Janet Reno barbecued those kids at Waco.

Moveon.Org refuses to move on! We should email bomb them until they realize Clinton is no longer on trial for impeachment!

Just about everyone at FR knows about the DemocratUnderground site.

Reading the wierdness at DU is like turning your head to take a look at a fatal car wreck; it will leave you with a disturbed, uneasy feeling.

Here is what I think some of our strategy should be in order to ensure Democrat party's disarray:

1. The DP activists are in a tizzy about the "election fraud". They are all tangled up in "statistical analysis" of the election results and exit polls that they think "proves" that there was fraud, are pushing recounts, etc. This is good and should be encouraged. Let them recount and "crunch numbers" - it is harmless, will not change anything, and keeps them concentrated on the past. Even better, it keeps them frustrated, because they are so sure that fraud happened, but cannot find any proof of it (since none exists).

2. Keep this "fraud" hysteria going. Infiltrate their forums, like democraticunderground.com and push the fraud theory. We already have some people flooding that forum with bogus "statistical analysis" posts. Support these people when you see them. Keep telling Democrats on these forums that there is no way that Bush could have won without fraud, that the exit polls were right, that mathematics show that there is a trillion to one chance that the election results were legitimate etc. The more their activists sink into the morass of despair over how they were "cheated out of the presidency" the less actual thinking and planning they will be doing for their political future.

3. There are some clear thinkers among the Democrats, even on du.com. They may turn the thinking towards future elections, political strategies, etc. Disrupt that. Accuse them of being "freepers" for daring to think there was no fraud. Promote the idea that anyone who does not believe in the "fraud" meme is a stooge of the Republicans. With enough attacks, this will either convert them into the "fraud" brigade, or drive them away - either way, a plus.

4. Longer term, the "fraud" advocates will not go away. These people are so married to that idea that nothing will convince them. Encourage that. Since no proof of fraud exists, they will go deep into conspiratorial theories. Encourage that. People who think that way will be discouraged from general political activism - hell, why vote if "they" will cheat you out of the vote anyway, right? With luck, we can extend this all the way to 2008 elections.

5. The hatred of Bush - this is very useful. Keep fanning it. Their hatred is what lost them these elections, and their hatred, if maintained, will extend their losing streak. Post inflammatory anti-Bush rhetoric. Start threads with topics like "How much do you hate Bush?" and "I hate him, I just hate him". Don't shrink from the task. The more they hate, the more they will lose.

So - go to it. Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed conspiracy theory, it may work wonders in despiriting the other camp.

Just for grins I signed on as KOOLAID MAN . After just 3 postings my privledges were revoked . Boy are they sensitive , they sure can dish it out, but they can't take it. And trust me I was very mild in my postings . You must agree with everything in a thread or they will revoke you. I'm so glad I don't fit in with the DUmmy squad .. .. ..
