Neil Peart of Rush nominated for his drum solo from Rush In Rio O'Baterista.
Congrats Neil!
Rock Instrumental Performance: "Instrumental Illness," The Allman Brothers Band; "Onda," Los Lonely Boys; "O Baterista," Rush; "Whispering a Prayer," Steve Vai; "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow," Brian Wilson.
I won't say this of many of the cuts on Brian Wilson's SMiLE but the original recording the Beach Boys did of "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" was better. I don't like this arrangement (the keyboards, etc.).
I saw Rush back in 1991 for Roll the Bones tour. Excellent concert.
I do like the song about the car, though.
They've loved the Clintons and this year is no different:

So the Rapist is now gonna be a grammy winner...lovely
Motorhead nominated for a Grammy?!? Isn't that one of the seven signs of the Apocolypse?
Motorhead has been nominated a few times before actually. I remember seeing Lemmy in the crowd in the late 90s...funny as hell..so out of place.
Outstanding! It's about time. I'm a huge RUSH fan. I've seen them every tour since Signals. They just keep getting better!
Dead men can't celebrate winning.
Honor people when they are alive.
Charles Schultz was given a medal of honor post-humously.
He's already won one (with Gorby). So has his wife.
I saw it the first time around and can tell you it was still funny when I saw the rerun.
