We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Russian President claims America wants a new dictatorship in Iraq, saying Russia cannot see how a free and fair vote can be held next month with the violence in the country.
Speaking of Iraq, the Navy is investigating new photos, predating Abu Ghraib by several months. AP notes "the far more brutal practices photographed in Abu Ghraib prison occurred months later." AP writes these pictures of Navy Seals recall aspects of Abu Gharib insofar as the prisoners were being assaulted and humiliated.
The AP specifically called out the fact that there were "grinning men wearing U.S. flags on their uniforms."
Decide for yourself, here are the pictures released by AP:
Other than the one above where the Seal is sitting on the prisoner, and even that is extraordinarily borderline as no context is being given, where's the abuse? Must be the flag, since the AP is liberal, and liberals hate America.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Tick.....tick.......tick...............
Good night, lysie!
But that's okay.:)
I'm going to step outside for a quick smoke. If I'm not back in 15 minutes, I'll see everybody next week.
/john
Okay, Johnny. Enjoy the smoke. Get a good night's sleep. And watch the game tomorrow.
p.s. I still haven't found the %$#* iron......I think you may be right.............
BUT, the dialgoe is pretty good, there are elements of humor, and all in all well worth the money.
We also had a VERY disappointing dinner at Colorado Steakhouse. Everything overcooked and bland. Good service, but the food was terrible.
My smoke break was cut short. SPs are NOT in short supply. The US has plenty of them. Most of them are very near to here.
I promise that I'll be good... tomorrow... if I make it that far.

I HATE to hear that. Complain to the owner on Monday. I'm sure the Owner and Chef de cuisine will be willing to make some changes to ensure that won't happen again.
Or, freepmail me the phone number to the restaurant, and I'll handle it.
I hate to see unhappy customers... at anybody's shop.
/john
I hadn't read about your sister and b-i-l, they are lucky folks indeed. I'd be honored to shake Zell Miller's hand too.
Sorry to hear about your dad Lisa. I know what that's like as both of my parents are deceased and my brother died last summer. Holidays can be tough sometimes.
Their bloomin' onion (or whatever they call it) was so overcooked that it was hard to chew. The potato skins were black on the outside, and very dry. The mushrooms had NO seasoning. And that was just the appetizer.
They managed to make a Caesar salad with no garlic, and the dressing tasted like mayonnaise. My shrimp were overcooked and doughy, and they sent Mr. Marple meat loaf instead of beef stroganoff. Also their biscuits are so sweet they taste like my shortcake.
I think I will call the manager on Monday. He needs to do something about his kitchen. Until there are definite changes, we won't return. $50 for that type of meal is way too much, IMHO.
Oh I just hate it when we have a dining experience like that. Nothing worse than going out and being disappointed in the food. I haven't been particularly impressed with Outback Steak Houses either.
Prairie
Call them. Please.
I know exactly what is going on in that kitchen. And I could fix it with a few, well-placed, phrases in spanish. (No discuta conmigo, soi el jeffe de le cocina). Somebody has let the kitchen get slack.
Food safety is probably also out the window.
I would love to be there for the thumping... but that's sorta de rigeur for me...
Give the manager a chance to fix it, and insist that he comps you for the meal.

Mmmmm. You haven't been privy to the send-off of the 82nd. That team is strong with the Lord. And deserves our continued prayers.

Thank you. It has been a great evening. For the first time ever my Grandmother spoke of her faith. I feel certain that she has saving faith. That is very comforting to me.
Then, Auburn won. It isn't even close to equaling the import of the first announcement, but it is sweet. Ah yes, victory is sweet.
In fact, come to think of it, this autumn has been very good indeed. President was re-elected. Yes, VERY SWEET INDEED.
Time for champagne.
You're right, I haven't. But it is good and encouraging to here you witness to it. Thank you, John, for your service to our country and to those serving our country. God bless you.
Here is how bad my dinner was. I had 10 shrimp, ate 4, and left the rest. I didn't even get it boxed up to bring home...and I love shrimp.
Oh, well, I will call on Monday with a detailed complaint. They did make a good cocktail sauce, and the martinis were good. However, I can get a good drink at a variety of places.
