First and only Seinfeld I was trapped into watching was when one of the characters, the bald smarmy one, was accosted by another patron for pissing in the shower at an athletic club.

I spent the rest of the show trying to imagine how Ricky Ricardo and Fred Mertz would have been with the story line.

I never could visualize such a thing.

Nor could I visualize why Seinfeld would get $1 Million per episode.

Alas our humor, like our manners our music and our morals, have become a repository of all that is crude, rude and vulgar.

Yes I will not argue with that. But beyond the vulgar part, Seinfeld has a way of zoning in on the selfishness in human nature and shining a bright light on just how ridiculous we humans are much of the time. That's why it's funny. It's not the subject matter really. But good for you for being picky and having high standards. We've got so little to pick from these days.
