"With the starting date approaching, and time closing in on casting, we still had not found anyone we liked for those roles. The cinematographer (Janissa Rose Hamilton) and I were watching Family Bonds, when we both turned to each other and said "Theyre perfect! explains Dominic Greco, the director of the independent movie that is quickly gaining world wide publicity due to it's controversial true story line, and use of undiscovered talent. "The whole family is full of natural talent, and tons of character. People who have that much character and are comfortable being so real in front of the camera are true naturals, and to me that is better to direct than experience any day of the week. Plus, Tom is about the coolest cat around!
With over 1,000,000 visits to their website in little over a year, Plastic is quickly gaining the attention of Hollywood, where independent movies are breaking records at the box office. We can make a movie for under a million dollars, that will knock your socks off, plain and simple says Plastics lead actor and veteran independent film maker; Trevor Hawkes. The amount of undiscovered talent weve found through the internet is exciting to say the least. People who would normally go unnoticed in Hollywood are hungry, and FULL of talent. Were right there to scoop them up and give them a chance to show their stuff.
Although Plastic is not yet funded, the Plastic crew is extremely confident that if the momentum continues at this pace Its only a matter of time.-Dominic Greco.

I like this show quite a bit. Tom is just a natural on-screen presence - tons of character. A truly interesting family. Although the sister-in-law (the one who gets all the cosmetic surgery) is a total freakshow.
Last episode they had the birth of the baby. They showed the -whole- birth, camera with a front seat. I've actually never seen that before. Amazing....and fairly gross :)
