Ok, wtf.. Go to Google usenet. They've totally ruined it today! The archive is completely unusable in this new format.

So ... what's so bad about it? I just went and looked up a couple of usenet threads I had participated on in the past, under another identity. Seemed to be usable to me.

They've backed off to the old version. Not sure just when. But the beta was the live version last night, and it sucked!
This is a case of fixing what was not broken. I hope it doesn't become a trend within the company, now that it's public.
