- Jr wins the Daytona 500
- Kenseth barely outdrags Kahne at the last Rock race.
- Mayfield gets the Mayfield Memorial Golden Ticket at Rockingham.
- JJ wins the week after the Hendrick plane crash.
- Busch wins the Cup.

Debris caution, and Earnhardt had a problem in the pit. Flash and Dollar Bill almost got together coming out of the pits, and the race out was Bill, Rudd in the Tide Slide and Flash.
