You're correct with that, there won't ever be another Reagan. He belongs to the ages now.
Good morning folks. I'm up early today so I'm viewing it as a sign that I should get myself to the grocery store early and pick up my last items.
It's currently 6 degrees F here today, -1 factoring in the wind chill. Tomorrow Mr. Prairie and I will be in charge of setting out over 300 luminarias on the sidewalks all around our church. The high for tomorrow is forecast at 9. I hope some people show up to help. Brrrrrrrrrr.
Prairie
I'm worried of sweetliberty. Hope she made it back from Little Rock alright. Of course, if they got ice, the electric might be off.
Wow...you have gotten hit bad, eh? I too hope Libby and the kids are ok. I was hoping she would check in last night.
Good thing you have the electricity and can stay warm.
Oops, sorry for the blank post. It showed up ok on preview. Did Pbase just go down?
LOL..he looks like the Mrs Claus I just made.. Only much cuter..
The flashy Christmas lights are nice though ;^). I hope sweetliberty checks in soon too. I'd forgotten she posted about being out in the weather yesterday. Yikes, it's been bad around Paducah from what I've read.
Conservababe, we don't have a flake of snow up here, just cold. Sounds like a good day to stay in, put on the Christmas carols and have a hot chocolate.
Yes, it is wicked weather. My daughter and the kids are just around the corner and we can't get to them yet. But, she did stock up on milk, bread and pullups before this hit. My brother in western Kentucky was expecting a whole passle of family to stay over tomorrow night, but they are closing freeways there. I'll bet a lot of people are going to have to spend Christmas someplace other than planned.
Sheeeeeeeesh.. if I click on both I can see them but they just dissappear again. Grrrr.. Pics have not been posting good for me lately..
Oh dear, what a rotten thing to happen so close to Christmas. I hope they get it all cleared out so the families can travel.
We are having rain, and maybe right thru Christmas, but it's warm. Back home it's rain too I guess. Just stay off the roads if you can, and let them dig out their equipment and get you plowed and sanded. Best to be at home alone than in a hospital.
Well, right now, I wish I were alone. Hubby is home. I asked him to set up the fireplace before I cleaned. He informs me that he can't because there is no wood in the basement, just in the woodpile at the end of our yard.
So, I says to him...I says "you knew Christmas Eve is tomorrow and you knew it was going to snow". I think he is hunting up his snowsuit and boots. Its just too darn bad that he procrastinated.
I think certain websites pictures might "time out" so to speak, if pix are lifted off them. Not sure that's what's happened with yours but I've had similar experiences with others.
Or it could be the evil cyber gremlins at work. That's probably it.
And, it seems the furnace needs help...crapolla.
Wow...did you people see this thread?

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...good luck Loddy.
Pullups are?
Some days it just doesn't pay to leave the casa.
Be careful out there friends.
