"The kiddies are making christmas cookies for Santa ... they sure are interesting looking" Well, you certainly have experience with "interesting" looking culinary creations.
We made cookies tonight, too. Good group effort. Dawn measured, Tyler poured, I mixed and baked. We went shopping earlier and we have been reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." Now Dawn is wrapping packages. Most everything I have left to wrap is hers, so I have to wait till she goes to bed.
I'm a little concerned about the weather forecast. It is raining here and supposed to turn to snow tomorrow. I'm not too thrilled about being out on the road if it does.

I admit a few customers have been rude stinkers, but for the most part the people are friendly and smile back when smiled at I noticed the folks I came across when paying for my things perked up when I wished them a Merry Christmas
I also remember a few years back having to return something and there was this one guy screaming at the poor women behind the counter and I remember wanting to smack him upside his head for the way he was acting .. it was un-called for and totally out of line

When I was little, we always had to wait till Christmas morning, but when I was in my teens, we started opening one present on Christmas Eve after church. I continued the tradition with Dawn and Tyler.

"One year when I was about 9 or 10 or so, I snuck out and unwrapped all my presents in the middle of the night and re-wrapped them all for morning." ROTFL! I did that one year, too. I think I was 11. I snuck out into the living room and took one at a time back to my bed and peeked, then rewrapped it and put it back under the tree. Went through every single one of them.

Tonight at my granddaughter's Christmas program, I had my toes trampled on by hordes of parents racing to the front of the stage to get a good pic of their darlings. And that is not to mention the videocam parents who line up in the aisles to record the entire program The parents do that at my kids school also
I guess they don't know how to use a zoom lens

Mike's home and it "ruins your day"?? FOFL Well I don't mean to complain ..
but he always tries to be helpful .. like putting away the clean dishes from the dishwasher .. problem is .. I can never find anything because he doesn't put them back in the right place
Or then there are the times I know he wants to go out and do something but won't tell me .. instead he just walks around the house till I get to the point I snap at him to JUST GO!!
Or he'll do the laundry .. and then dumped the cloths for me to fold .. when I'm in the middle of doing something else
I can usually take about a week of this crap .. LOL

Just one problem .. that was the year mom forget to get me anything for christmas and the gifts that I was all exicted about ... she bought for my sisters
