Good morning. Another cold, foggy morning here. It's going to be that way for awhile - a high pressure system is here, and looks to have settled in for a nice, long stay.

I had my share of bad dates in my day, but I kicked 'em to the curb. At least I didn't marry any of them! And I still don't feel qualified to offer anyone marital advice. Besides, we're only get one side of the story on that thread.

I went out in 15° this morning with the wind blowing so hard, my van was swaying. I'm beginning to wish I'd just get snowed in all week.

A relatively balmy 58° as I peck, and try to decide whether to do what I need to do today.

It's ironic how much of the advice comes from divorced Freepers. I can be staggered by the force of bitterness in some of the posts on the marriage and men vs women threads.
I think the guy needs a stern on-air lecture from Dr. Laura.

Westy, its time for you to check in. We need to know if you're alright. But, I know you don't DO mornings well. LOL

I am not only a fountain of bad ideas, I am also a fountain of bad advice.

Yep. That's one good reason not to seek marital advice on public forums. Lots of angry and bitter people willing to jump in and "help". And yes, he needs a stern lecture from Dr. Laura. I haven't gone back to visit the thread, and don't plan to. Ugh.

I had to go look - the wifey needs to learn about TheList, and make one out daily for goofy if he's that blind.
See, it really didn't need 316 replies.

I've never seen a man in my life that would do anything on the Honey Dew list. It must be a southern thang.

"You and your daughter look close to the same age." Well, bless your heart. Isn't it a little early in the day to be dipping into the egg nog?

"if I were having marital problems, I wouldn't post a vanity on FR asking for advice." Well, I can't think of a better place to get a wide range of experiences, and probably some good advice. Probably a lot of tacky remarks, too, but FReepers can be very sensitive. I guess it just depends on which FReepers collect on such a thread.

"That's sad enough...saving your marriage over the internet." Although, I've heard of the internet destroying a few.
Hint: If you're asking your internet friends how to save your marriage, you probably need to start by turning off your computer.

I seem to have some flowers from somewhere in California. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?
*Smootch* to you too.
