Resty, if that deal was such a gold mine, don't you think that the private sector would be all over it?
She thinks it's punishment...
So she's delusional, is she?
It really isn't the business of government to take taxpayer dollars and built a stadium for the benefit of private enterprise. Oakland did that to lure back the Raiders, and it's continuing to cost the Alameda county taxpayers millions of dollars, while the owner of the football team rakes in the dough.

One of the differents between the poor and the rich is vision!
The Mayor is a billionire not because of good looks!
The Lord also gives his flock vision but most of the flock are complacent!
A bit. It's my fault because my children have perpetual typhoid, and I won't make them sleep in the snow when they are overtly sick. Nor do I spend the entire time they are here spraying them and everything they touch, breathe on or look at with Lysol.
Jerry Jones is running the same scam with Arlington, TX: some folks are having their homes taken by emminent domain.
It will be interesting to see how the supremes rule on a similar case that is currently being reviewed. When we have lost our property rights, we have lost all our rights.
Kids can be little germ factories. We don't have any of those around here.
True, but a parent doesn't disown them when they are sick.
Of course they don't!
Is there a way to import IE Favorites to the Mozilla Firefox bookmarks? I've got quite a few Favorites, and don't want to manually enter them into Firefox. I've surfed around a bit to see if I could find a way to do it, but so far, nada.
Try 'splaing that to her...
Probably. I was able to import everything on my work computer during setup. It was so painless I don't even remember how I did it. I seem to recall being asked if I wanted to and clicking one button.
Don't know about Firefox, but in Camino under "File" there is an "Import Bookmarks" option
I finally figured it out. I went to the bookmark manager, and found an option to import. It was painless! Yay! Now I can abandon IE except if it's necessary for something.
You'll need it for winblows updates - but that's about it, that I can see. Got sound?
No, I don't have sound. I've run through the troubleshooting in the settings panel, and everything comes up saying that the device is working properly. The connections are tight, the volume controls appear to be properly set. I'm stumped.
What a great thing to do Loddy. I found a woman's wallet in the produce section of the grocery store the other day and I just turned it in. I'll bet she was some happy to get that back. I didn't even open it.
someone had to ask...
Yes. All of the little green lights on the speaker system are on.
