This is why I have a cat. LOL
I remember my great grandmother talking about executions of convicted and sentenced criminals in Louisiana. She said that she went to one as a teenage girl. The man was seated on his own coffin before his freshly dug grave. He was then shot by three men. If more people, especially when young, actually viewed an execution, I think it would reduce crime.
Now, it takes twenty years to exhaust appeals and then close the actual execution to a few people.
LOL! Yep. I was thinking the same thing. Dogs are too high maintenance.
actually, it is terrificmusic.com
What an interesting description of an execution. I've never heard of anything like that. But then people weren't so squeamish in those days. My grandmother could drive a team of four horses, milk cows, run the plow, slaughter chickens and do just whatever needed to be done. They were strong, strong folks. Society could use more of their kind these days.
The prisons have to separate those who perpetrate crime on children away from the other inmates because the other inmates won't stand for having child killers and molesters in their midst and will kill them. I think that should say something to us.
*Yawn* I'm chucking it in early tonight. Goodnight all.
U.S. Attorney Todd Graves said Lisa M. Montgomery, 36, of Melvern, Kan., was charged with kidnapping resulting in death in the slaying of 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett, who was found nearly dead Thursday in her Skidmore home. Paramedics tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Rush had an interesting take on this and said it should be difficult for the abortionist to keep referring to it as a fetus when it was a baby taken from the womb!

A child cut from the womb of a slain eight-months-pregnant woman has been found alive after police in Missouri issued an Amber Alert.
Authorities sent out the alert after the body of Bobbi Jo Stinnett, 23, was discovered yesterday in Skidmore, Mo., by her mother.
Police in neighboring Kansas, who made the discovery through a telephone tip, are questioning a man and woman at the home where the baby was found.
Six FBI agents are on their way to the home from Kansas City, the Associated Press reported.
Earlier today, Nodaway County Sheriff Bill Espey in Missouri said doctors who examined the mother believed the baby probably was alive but would be in danger because of being one month premature.
"Someone was wanting a baby awful bad," he said.
Authorities said the crime scene in the northwest Missouri town of 500 had no visible signs of struggle. Police had been looking for a person with blond hair driving a red vehicle.
Stinnett, expecting her first child, worked in Maryville, Mo., at a motor factory.
A neighbor, Bill Dragoo, told the St. Joseph News-Press Stinnett and her husband "didn't bother anybody."
"It blows my mind that this happened," he said. "She was such a shy person. They didn't deserve this."
Well folks here it is that time again..
Just checked out standing up and made it, hope it holds for a few more minutes..
Goodnight all of you, hope you have good ones tonight...

Sweet Dreams Westie ... and take car of yourself
They will act it never happened ... it doesn't fit their agenda
A gift certificate to the Day Spa ..
She would never go on her own and I figured I'd pick up a gift card and when her sister comes in town in the summer .. the two of them can go have a day of it and pamper themselves
I heard on the news the cold front is to stretch down your way
They are calling for snow up here ... but they keep going back and forth on how much we will get
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2 Tim. 3:1-7)
It was nice and sunny here today; cool, but pleasant. It's supposed to get cold again. I hope it doesn't get too bad though, and I really hope it doesn't snow while Dawn and Tyler are here, unless it is on a day when we aren't planning to go anywhere.
I just got back from a quick trip to the mini mart ... Oh man it's cold out there
I hope it doesn't snow for ya ... but Tyler would have fun playing in the snow
Tyler gets plenty of snow to play in in Colorado.
