I guess you northern folks are having a good laugh. Its 13° right now. I cancelled my chiro appointment. No way am I going out today. I'm sitting here with my electric throw over my shoulders. The cat is in the inner hallway bathroom next to the heating vent.

I took my wife there this past spring, we caught a picturesque day when it had snowed in the morning, and fast moving, low clouds were sweeping through the valley.

We walked the Tolumne grove of Sequoias, stopped on the highway going back toward Tahoe, and caught the wind off a newly thawed lake.

Man, that is beautiful up there. I keep a big Yosemite painting on the wall in my basement. In 21 years we had never taken a vacation without the kids, till then.

Dr Phil is going 3 days on Christmas it was joyous to watch today!

It's a holiday extravaganza as Dr. Phil and Robin host a huge party for military families with loved ones overseas. "We knew going in that there was nothing we could do to replace mom or dad not being there, but our hope was that we could create something that maybe filled the void a little bit, and took their minds off of that," says Dr. Phil.

It's pretty cold up here too .. However, the cold did wake me up when I had to drive the kiddies to school this morning

Have you or anyone viewed the new Barney cam about looking for Miss Beasley? I went to the site and can only get the audio of the video. Just drat. I heard that the libs were complaining of Karl Rove picking all the blue balls off the Christmas tree. LOL

Yes I was able to see it and Rove was a hoot!

He was ripping and throwing off all the blue balls saying something about the recount in Ohio and yelling for red balls for the tree
