I think that we make a mistake by blaming our abundant and cheap food for obesity. The lack of exercise, caused by TV, computers, air conditioning and less physical work is IMHO the primary cause of obesity today.

Plus our foods are full of toxins and ingredients to make people and additive to those foods! Chemical and human growth hormone's which children should not be ingesting for their bodies developed before the brain to has reached good reasoning!

Europe and other nations do not eat our food, they don't the health issues we do!

I think it is a crime we use to be the breadbasket of the world, today we spend more money on imitating our food where as in Europe they use less chemical preservatives and more natural alterative.

A word of wisdom
"Behold, verily, thus saith the Lord unto you: In consequence of evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days, I have warned you, and forewarn you, by giving unto you this word of wisdom by revelation—"

We are the most generous nation on the earth and in these days instead of loyalty we have many enemies....even to the point to infiltrate and undermind our food....when a nation become fat and sluggish it is easier to conqueor! There is a battle going to suppress knowledge that has come to light. It is each of our responsiblity to search the net and other avenues to see just what is going on in the world and if some of those things are vailed!

Forgot to mention.....I saw a bald eagle driving when I was driving to work this morning. A rare sight to see one flying that low so as to be easily identified.

Good morning folks. I've been catching up on my Christmas preparations and haven't been able to check in here for a few days. Glad to report that I'm almost done!

My daughter wants various sizes of double pointed knitting needles. I had no idea how hard they'd be to find. I was able to order some online although half of the sizes that I thought I'd was ordering had been discontinued (at least at that website). I have one last place to check locally, then if no luck will try a yellow page search for the greater metro area, maybe find a specialty store.

sheesh.:^)

Wow...that does sound odd. Does she want the round ones or the straight ones? I have a bunch at home, and always found them in places like Walmart. Have you checked there?

YEEEEE HAAAWWWWW Dixie!

I always said the south would rise again. You're welcome, yankees!

Good analysis of Republican sweep of the south by the LA Times....if you can believe that. Well worth reading the whole article. Now what was that John F'n was saying about he could win without the south?

GOP Has Lock on South, and Democrats Can't Find Key

Yes I looked at Walmart yesterday. They didn't have double pointed, just circular and the ones that have a single point. Also looked at the local fabric store, same result. Will check Hobby Lobby next.

Yes, they were headed off to a Christmas party (and Kim's been working hard with a company called "Curves" to regain her girlish figure.)

I've only seen one once.
And it was flying fairly low too.

If the South had succeeded in their bid for secession, the North would have collapsed due to overwhelming liberalist influences.
