I suppose you are right. It's just me, as I'm always struggling with the things we can do to one another. What's it called? Man's inhumanity to man?
Oh, okay, I found the photo of your Christmas decorations. That looks so lively. Your house always looks like it's filled with life.
We have entire weeks, here, that this place looks and feels like some kind of museum.
Essential Conversation classes?
You'll be able to re-purchase your company even sooner than I thought...how very PC of the new management.
Satan was given dominion over this world until Christ returns to claim his Kingdom. Any form of government that rules by force, or threat of force, is not of God and I believe to be of Satan and not of the Prince of Peace. I can only judge people or organizations by their actions; not by their words.
Poor Kerry won't even warrant a footnote in the history books yet to be written.
Oh my goodness! I've been having the most weird dreams ever. Nothing about killing people but nightmares, all the same. Once I dreamed I went to a party but forgot my clothes. Another time I was under water and couldn't surface for air. Just awful grim stuff, really.
Wonder what's going on with us?
Awwwwwwwww Loddy, that is so special.
Are your halls decked for Christmas?
But there are no trees or bushes or grasss
O-MG! Who is he? Reminds me of the Nermal. :)
decorated, yes ... shopping, no
I have not a clue on what to get my inlaws for christmas
Mike's sister and I came up with an agreement a few years back that made it easy ... No buying gifts for us adults and just get gifts for the kids :0)
But I can't do that with my MIL
As a respite from PC-isms, you will dream strange dreams of floating heads and other odd things.
On second thought, that may induce psychosis.
Gimme a few minutes and I'll think of something for you two to dream.
That cat's not spoiled, naaaaaah..
I understand about difficult people to buy for. Groan. I've no idea what to give my Bess. I'm just at a loss. She says she doesn't want anything but good health for the two of us. I can't do that. :)
She won't give me even one tiny hint of what she'd like to have.
Sweetie, do you know anything about Mourning Doves?
I have 2 on the ground, in my bamboo garden. They don't act sick but are just sitting there. It's COLD here with the North wind blowing. It's just gotten to 38 degrees.
Do mourning doves nest on the ground in cold weather? I have a feeder close by and put seed on the ground for the ground feeders, but none of the birds live with me. They fly away at evening time.
I've not seen these birds do this before.
Everything's good to go here - we get it done the weekend after Thanksgiving and have several weeks to enjoy.
I went and looked out that window. I now have 6 of them around and in that bamboo. I hope they do stay there. They'll be warmer and closer to their food. They seem okay, just cold and have their feathers fluffed and nestled down in the ivy, pine straw and bamboo leaves.
I guess they are okay, it's just different behavior than I've noticed before.
ROFLMBO!! I have a similar one of someone who moved to Calgary. I can relate. My husband swears everytime it snows!!
Don't you love it? Same here, been Christmas dressed for weeks. :)
It's supposed to be 19 degrees here tonight. brrrrrr. We aren't used to this kind of prolonged cold. Won't be above freezing at night until Sunday, so they say.
Believe Bess. While getting my folks' house ready for sale, we've found all the presents we gave them over the years all boxed up and stacked in a closet.
At a certain point in most of our lives we have all the "stuff" that we want or need...most of us, if we want something, we just go get it - and I mean immediately.
Good luck with it.
And, sadly, the swift boat vets are not yet done. They have to defeat Kerry one more time.
Then he and Tereza can go on permenant safari.
That's our Mango cat :) He has a twin, Mogi, who is lighter orange. Our neighbors found them in a tree in the middle of the desert when they were kittens. Two New Years ago. Good thing too because it's cold here at night this time of year.
I guess so but it seems so odd not to buy something for her. My head trip, I suppose.
She is with me day in and day out. I asked her if she'd like a little vacation away from me for a few days and she looked as if I'd slapped her. I explained myself, as best I could, and dropped it.
When it warms up, I think I'll drag her antique shopping. She usually finds something she likes or that reminds her of her childhood. That might be fun.
I think you are right though. I probably just need to listen to her.
