Whatever it is, it appears to be progressive, this next photo was taken sometime in October. The skin on his hand doesn't look to be affected but the damage to his face was not as severe then either.

Resty, you've dug up some weird things to post. But, I believe this one takes the cake. What in this god's earth is it? While I was touring Nigeria in Aug. 2001, I came upon this sculpture in the Sacred Grove, Oshogbo, Nigeria. There were easily 100 different sculptures in this preserve. This one resembled an alien to me, and stood about 8 feet tall.
It was explained to me that these sculptures are deities of the traditional Orisha religion of the Yourba culture of Western Nigeria. I have other pics taken at the sacred grove posted to my travel website. --Bob Miller
