Twinkies for dessert. Microwave for just a few seconds for that fresh taste.

Hey citizen M - I'm in Kelowna, about 35 miles away from Penticton. Been there tons of times. Small world huh? I was just trying to catch up from where I left off days ago and thank goodness I did. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen your post. That is so neat!!
Oh and the fires were IN Kelowna!! People are STILL re-building and fighting with Insurance Companies. And I agree, we are kinda nice here. LOL Lots of Americans in fact, vacation in our area each year.

I ended up going out after all. I couldn't refuse the third dinner offer....it involved horses and it ended up being a beautiful day. We had a lovely ride. Now if I could just go choke the little #$@%*# SOB twit next door who's trying to blast the windows out of the house, it would be an almost perfect day.

Resty, they are just putting the finishing touches on a new HUGE WALMART here in Kelowna. In a way I can't wait. I'm so sick of HIGH grocery prices. Maybe they will bring some sense into that market at least.

Well I'm pretty proud of your California wacko's at the moment. Looks like the Jury was made up of good solid folks after all. That is, after they got rid of that DR/Lawyer who ASKED to be dismissed. First he was elected Foreman because he had 20 FULL NOTEBOOKS of notes. But he was so authoritative and so slow that they Jury voted him out of the position. He took his marbles and went to the Judge and asked to go home. He's so ODD!!Obsessive/Compulsive maybe? I think the guy has literally NO social skills at all. He works as neither a Dr. nor a Lawyer. I'm sure he had to get home and re-arrange his canned goods and pluck his cats eyebrows!! eeeeeeeeekk!!
I know Cheri. It's a vexing time we live in. I just think that President Bush with all his flaws is so much better than a Kerry. Kerry would have the US on their knees before the United Nothings in a flash! What can I say, his mother was french so he probably had his white flag in his pocket all along.
