Oh dear, I'd go with the arrested, I'm afraid. :) Of course, with a party like that, it takes several days for people to trickle back in. :)

Ahhh, the charm garland sounds lovely. They told me at all the craft stores they ran out of Thanksgiving stuff a month ago. Yes, Tucson is a backwards town. Next year I'll get started earlier. Thank goodness I have oodles of Christmas stuff already.

Well, it looks like the casa and the grounds fit right into the surrounding landscape. So, I'd just enhance and extend that natural look, wouldn't try to go against mother nature down there, just go with the flow. Layout some beds around the house for those no-fuss, blooming cactus plants and some of the greener ones, stagger the height and texture. Build one of those great outdoor fireplaces with some comfortable lounge chairs in a teak or redwood, put some good pads on them with heavy duty fabric so you can sit back and enjoy the millions of stars in the nighttime sky and the moonlight over the water.
Can't tell much about the house from that photo, but I'd probably continue the natural look inside as well. Keep it low maintainence. It would be helpful to know what the floorplan looks like :)

Tucson is?
I think you can wire anything on rope. Using florist wire and picks, I've used pineapples, all kinds of fruit, nuts, squash, anything the grocery store has. If you slice the oranges, limes and lemons, spray them with hairspray, they smell so good but won't leak.
I've enjoyed talking with you. See ya later. :)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. :) Oh, BTW, you'll have freepmail in just a minute :)

What a place that could be. Use to be a big cattle rancho with lots of water..Until a storm broke through the sand barrier to a fresh water lagoon and turned it salt...No more water, no more cattle, no more hacienda...Kaput....

I almost asked you to be sure and let us see her in her Santa outfit Santa Suit? I think not. Lucy always wears her fashionable faux pearls and fur coat during the holiday season. LOL
