I'm pinging CeeGee too, so we can touch base with her. Drop in on her Thanksgiving prep. :)

I know what has happened.
You saw the pictures of bourbon and now
you want to be at the next meeting.
You can be invited but I must tell you
bourbon is very much spoken for.

It is EIGHTY degrees here. Good grief!

I don't think I've ever seen them....I'll make a note and look for them at the nursery. They sound really pretty. :)
My relatives on the east coast of FL have lots of Plumeria in their yard and they seem to thrivewithoutmuch care. They're very colorful and so fragrant.

I think the Sago's would hold up to the heat better than the Queen's. Also, my elephant ears would not do well in the heat. They'd have to be kept on the loggia. Cannas, bamboo and the olive trees would love the heat. So would your bouganvillea. Trouble with Sago's is that they stick.
To: Letitring
uh-huh, from what I hear, he is happy :)

ROFLMBO. We wouldn't dare. Gran is very capable of doing her own landscaping. She is a gardening genius. I love her pansy beds. They just rock, every year. :)
Isn't it awful? You just say "new house" to us, and we are off to the races. LOL.

Gasp! Never did such a thought enter our minds. ROFLOL. We promise to be very well behaved, Your Royal Majesty. :)

Have you heard the song about Christmas is MS?
It starts out.
"It;s Christmas in ms
and it's damn near 85 degrees'
One line says something about
"snuggleing under the ceiling fan"

No, Sagos aren't for touching but they'd look great in a corner of the deck or out by the columns at the front of her house. We need to find out if her deck gets morning or afternoon sunlight that will make a big difference on what type and the placement.

I have not heard that. :) Rings true today, doesn't it?
I think we are going to have some really bad weather. How are things your way?
To: Letitring; celtic gal
CeeGee stopped by last night and seemed to be deep into her Thanksgiving prep... they're apparently having family cause she said she was childproofing the house. LOL

THANKS Girlfriend. I really do appreciate it.
From the shadows, does it look like a North/South placement to you? House faces North, pool side South?

Her house already has a heavy Palm presence. Be best to carry that out? Chinese Fan Palms can take the heat.
