The weaponization of space was avoided during the Cold War, even though both superpowers jockeyed for military advantage on virtually every other front. Space weaponry can also be avoided now, when the United States enjoys unparalleled agenda-setting powers.

The above statement by Krepon proves how incredibly fixated the liberals are on already-disproven assumptions. ICBMS/SLBMS are weapons that go through space, hence being perhaps the far larger threat. A threat which we need to be able to respond to detect, deter, destroy. Which requires our unimpeded space capabilities, and un-surprised by a space-going Pearl Harbor attack, surveillance, battle command C-4-I capability, and missile intercept...all of which is a far more desireable, and moral posture.

Peace through Strength.

Of all the risky transformation initiatives championed by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, the one receiving the least media attention is the weaponization of space.

1 mankind is going into space
2 where ever we go we take weapons

Some people may not like it but that's what some of us call reality. And as a wise man once said "it's a bi*ch."
