I haven't yet seen the 2nd and 3rd Matrix films. I was out of commission for a while as far as that kind of thing and have a bit of catching up to do.

Thank you for the compliment on my taste in films! :-)

I love Office Space and Monty Python, but I doubt they made the list.

OK, without looking at my profile page, try two more of my favorites:

1) Now, I don't wanna kill you, and you don't wanna be dead.

2) Get ready, little lady. Hell is coming to breakfast.

Not familiar with the second.

Anything from the original Godfather. In addition to being the most absorbing, most thrilling, best scripted, best acted and (all-around) greatest film of all time, Coppola's 1972 classic is the Zen MASTER of classic lines.

"I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse", "Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes", "Never take sides against the family", "You need a wartime consigliere", "Leave the gun; take the canoly"...the list is endless.

I also have a spot in my heart for "They may take our lives, but they'll never take OUR FREEDOM!" from Braveheart, and "Zed's dead, baby; Zed's dead" from Pulp Fiction.

Ooh! I remembered one from "Chicken Run," when one of the hens gets hauled off by the farmer's wife. The somewhat dim hen in the barn goes:

"Maybe she's going on holiday!"

Oh, how could I forget to mention something from Caddyshack. That movie is the comedy Bible.

"When you buy a hat like this I bet it comes with a free bowl of soup...but it looks good on you though!"

"You'll get nothing and like it"

"This steak is so fresh it still has the marks of the jockey's whip on it"

"Hey, everybody. We're all gonna get laid!"

"So I've got that going for me...which is nice".

Has anyone said
"I'm mad as hell,
and I'm not gonna take it anymore!!!" ?

Sorry if this is a repeat...
Don't feel like scrolling through
the 5OO I missed.

"What does that line mean?!?"

I haven't investigated it, but I was told that a huckleberry is a pall bearer.

Lone Watie (Chief Dan George) to Granny when Josie appears with the sun at his back while they are prisoners of the Comancheros in "The Outlaw Josie Wales."

Thought of some more this morning while laying in bed.

The Alamo

Bowie: "You are in danger of becoming a good man."
Travis: "I think I shall have to settle for what I am now."
