More prayers needed!

I am asking for continued prayers. As some may remember I asked for prayers because my wife and I were splitting up after eight years. The thoughts behind her reasoning were that we were too different and my inability to find a meaningful job. I thought that I had finally gained some peace about the situation and was able to accept the split, however, I was packing to head to Florida today and it felt as if God was telling me to pray for reconciliation and to not close the door on this relationship. I am confused because I am wondering whther this is just my love for her telling me not to give up or was God telling me that he is not finished with us yet. I need to fill you in on some details of our relationship, she has a lot of anger with God because her favorite cousin was killed in a car accident at the age of eighteen roughly 13 years ago, then three years ago we lost her sister's baby one day before delivery, and her brother-in-law's sister had two children killed in a horrendous car accident within the span of a week. Lastly, about two months ago her we threw a party for her mother and father's 34th anniversary and the father never showed up. Her name is Theresa, and she is feeling a lot of pain regarding these incidents. The prayers that I am asking for are for Theresa to feel the Love and compassion of God. That God would send his angels and servants to minister to her and give her peace. That she would come to know the saving grace of Christ. Lastly that God would send a spirit of reconciliation to her and that the dorr would be opened for our marriage to continue on in Christ. I thank all the prayer warriors and I ask for prayers for me to be strong and that God would mold me into the man that she needs in order to meet her needs spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Thanks to all, WesHess

Already did and we found out that I had a felony arrest against my name that wasn't mine. I had to get that erased from record because it was causing problems getting a job.

I haven't passed the bar yet, New Jersey is kind of tough. I missed it by 12 points the last time.

OK, that bites....

I've divorced twice: I won't pray for her, if a woman wants to leave you for some reason, not even God can reach her.

I pray for strength and peace for you.

Forget her and her problems, just be the best man you can.

I will pray for your situation. I don't know if you're aware but there are many marriage restoration ministries on the web. Two that are very successful are:

Whether the marriage continues or not, try to maintain the same understanding spirit you have about her now. She's obviously been through a lot, and will need a friend who understands.

It is pretty easy to criticize someone when you don't know the circumstances. I really didn't think that fellow freepers could be so shallow, but congratulations on being the part of the shallow end of the pool.

I will continue to be there for her. She refuses to talk to me right now because she says it hurts too much, but God is faithful and prayer always works. I have been praying for God to heal her heart and soften it in order for her and I to at least be able to speak to one another.
