NFL Week 10 ping.
Let's see if the Steelers can do the same thing in the "dog pound" as they've been able to do on the "Carrier?"
As a die-hard Viking fan, living in the heart of Packer Country, I either love or hate this day every year! I just wish we had Randy Moss here today, if only used as a decoy.
There's a 3 way tie for "Game of the Week".
Baltimore at NY Jets, Minnesota at Green Bay, and Seattle at St.Louis are all games with playoff implications.
Houston at Indy and Pittsburgh at Cleveland get honorable mention.
Tampa at Atlanta gets a mention because there is no love lost between Rich Mckay and Jon Gruden, and the teams just don't like each other. If the falcons win, they pretty much sew up the NFC south. If the bucs win, and they're 3-1 their last 4 games, they remain in a viable playoff position.
Being from Charlottesville, Virginia the local stations carry the Washington Redskins games to the exclusion of all others.
Last week I had to go to the local sports bar to catch the Steelers/Eagles game on satellite. It seemed that half the town had the same opinion of the TV schedule as the parking lot and the bar were packed! *LOL*

It's on!
and whats better is a buncha of people i know are playing football today at the local middle school, gonna be fun i love street football

should have a good day today.
Prediction: Giants 34, Cardinals 17.
I also predict that Pittsburgh will rule the Dog Pound on account of the adrenaline that was stirred up this week by that "threat" to injure Roethsburger (I'll learn to spell his name right one of these days).
As a Patriots fan, I'm looking forward to seeing Drew Bledsoe throw a couple of TD's to the Patriots tonight.
5 of 6 are picking the Texans to defeat Indianapolis in Indianapolis. 5 of 6 pick the Redskins to defeat the Bengals in Washington.
I find these games difficult to pick because obviously, some teams can barely afford to lose; for example, the Ravens at 5-3 vs. the Jets who have only 2 losses but those are the last two games. Still, I'll just pick for all the games,
Ravens
Steelers
Colts
Titans
Tampa Bay
Lions
Seahawks
Chiefs
Bengals
Vikings
Cardinals
Fortyniners
Patriots
Eagles
The LEAGUE plays here!
Picks for Week Ten:
Baltimore over NY Jets
Tennessee over Chicago
Jacksonville over Detroit
Indianapolis over Houston
Kansas City over New Orleans
Pittsburgh over Cleveland
Seattle over St. Louis
Atlanta over Tampa Bay
Cincinnati over Washington
Carolina over San Francisco
Green Bay over Minnesota
Arizona over NY Giants
New England over Buffalo
Philadelphia over Dallas
And as a bonuns, in the CFL divisional playoffs, the BC Lions will defeat the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Western Division finale(4P ET, FSN/CSN affiliates & CBC); and the Toronto Argonauts will go up the 401 and defeat the Montreal Alouettes in the WestJet East Division Championship (7P ET, FSN/CSN affiliates & CBC).
The winners will meet next Sunday evening in Ottawa for the 92nd Grey Cup game (6P ET, FSN/CSN affiliates & CBC).
FSN and Comcast SportsNet affiliates are carrying the game in the US, most live, some on a tape-delayed basis.
Erm,
I don't watch any sporting event that doesn't have music, sequins or animals. :)
Ok, so maybe football is watchable!
Who dat say they gonna beat them Saints, who dat, who dat...."
Where's my bag?
Go Pats!
Do mine eyes deceive me, or is there a possibility of multiple 8-8 playoff teams in the NFC?
