Is the abhorrent conduct of attorney Garragos in the last few days,ie the boat plant and his obvious absence today for the verdict just a ploy for Peterson to be able to make a claim on appeal of "imcompetent counsel"?
Can anyone name a case Garragos has actually won beyond Susan McDougal?? Which was hardly a win...
Do you think he really deserted his client?
We can expect Greta Van Sustern to cover this on FOX news for another few years. BTW, what's the latest with Kobi and OJ these days?
I got a real kick out of the handmade sign in front of Laci's house that said "Hey Scott.. come soon. We're waiting for you.. 'Bubba".
OJ must still be spending every waking minute looking for the "real killer."
I think he did his job with what he had - a guilty client.
He gave it his best shot.
Too bad he wasn't defending OJ.
I think he helped keep klepto Wynoda(sp?) Ryder out of jail.
What ever happened to her, anyway?
Counsel would not have benefited Peterson today.
Winona Ryder was found guilty of felony.
That's not much of a success....
Sorry, flame if you want to do so but with the lack of physical evidence I would have been unable to reach a guilty verdict in this Peterson case. There is a lot of reasonable doubt in my mind.
No, he spends Friday's with other clients.
Needless to say, that when he told the judge that he wasn't impressed...
No.
Someone said earlier today that "he told the judge he doesn't work Friday's" at the beginning of the case.
He did it, he had to have done it, her body was found in the bay where he was fishing, he was a liar, a cheater, he must be guilty, but what if... (enter reasonable doubt) NOT GUILTY, PERIOD! Have we all forgotten the law?
"BTW, what's the latest with Kobi and OJ these days?"
Kobi and OJ are about to change into Mark Hacking and Robert Blake. Expect another year of Greta babbling about these two cases that are about to start. Ugh.
What about the disappearing jurors? First they're deadlocked, then the judge dismisses a couple of them and they have a sudden verdict. What's up with that?
No murder weapon, no murder scene, no cause of death, no witnesses, no history of violence, and what's the motive? Well maybe this, maybe that.

Exactly, pretty easy to come up with a conviction if you just try the case and remove every jury voting to acquit. I suspect this was only CA v. Scott Peterson 1.0. There may well be others to follow.
