Just watched Martina McBride! Shes GrEAt!
Terri Clark is straight, as far as anyone knows, but there have been rumors she might have crossed the fence a time or two. She's been rumored to have been seen at a gay bar several times, and at least one anonymous female poster on a country music fan board claims to have dated her. Of course, rumors like this exist for just about every female (or male) country singer in existence, so who knows?
Regardless, if Clark is indeed straight as an arrow, she's about the most lesbian straight girl you can get. She's happiest in jeans and a tank, she sings constantly about her tomboy status and she is a self-proclaimed "One of the Guys".
I imagine Waylon just wandering off when Willie and Kris got to running their mouths too much.
I knew Waylon fairly well. I had a long affair with his girl friday ...a fine gal too by music row standards...not a viper.
Waylon did it his way....all the way to the end. A real hoss.
He eschewed the CMAs even when they inducted him into the HOF.
He was a good fella but not someone to trifle with. His boy Shooter looks to be living large in LA these days.
Anybody think George Strait looks really thin now? Haven't seen him in years. Looks like he's about to dry up and blow away.
I have never been invited.
My wife knows the facial/skin lady well for nearly all the chicks.
They look great.
TIBA Salon (Green Hills)...Waffa is the lady....a shameless plug.
Hey, that guy that used to hang around with Dennis Kucinich is singing!
I plan to get George Strait's greatest hits album. Only sorry that "Amarillo by Morning" isn't on it, since that song never made it to #1. That's my favorite GS song.
yep....he thought they were looney but he admired their crafting...especially Willie.
Willie makes whoever he is talkling to feel like he is very interetsed in them....especially girls..lol
I can do without Willie Nelson...
one of the few democrats in country music.
**sigh**
I think most young Americans will remember Kris better for his role in the "Blade" movies.
Ooooooh, that sounds like a salon I'd love to visit.
I'm not the type to get overly emotional over stars. But, I cried the day Waylon died. Big tears. There just wasn't anybody else like him.
Alphabetical order.
Dang Kris was polite enough....and got all emotional....I applaud what he had to say about his long gone pals.
He must be about 70 ...he was always the oldest I think.
LOL, that one I can give a personal amen to. I met Willie a couple of times over 20 years ago. I lived out on Lake Travis and he lived "in the neighborhood" then. He did *always* make everyone feel like they were important to him. And he didn't just forget, he'd remember ya later. Nice guy - even with his politics.
I was around he and Jessie a good bit when my dad died.
They went beyond just being nice to him.....Jessie was really sweet to him....he had a brain tumour and it was rather obvious.
Really? Kris is 70 or thereabout?
Time flies.
Keith Urban was listed just before her name, and the "..and special guest" remark. I'm wondering if that had to be a clause.
