As to Dean, I read an article yesterday where one of his people was asked about '08 and she said that every option was open. I think - and hope - that Dean will run again in '08. In fact, I hope he gets their nomination. Nothing I'd like better.

The only point of your analysis that I disagree with is that Hillary would do well in MO. I doubt that. We have our fair share of Libs here, but her little trip into Socialized Medicine did not go over well here, and I believe that this state would remember who pushed it. IMHO.

The bottom line is America is not ready to elect a woman president. Men would turn out heavy against her heavily on both sides, and a good number of women wouldnt vote for her. Hispanics alone are still very patriarchal and would never conceive of a woman president. And does anyone think those coal miners and steel workers are going to look her in the eyes and believe she is empathetic to their needs? And I'm not even begining to talk about foreign affairs and waging the battle againts terrorism. The military would completely reject her. When a woman does finally win, it will have to be a conservative one. It's much less threatening to Americas core ideals.

Anyone hear Dick Morris on Neal Boortz today? He said Hillary will announce her intentions at the dedication of the Clinton Library in Arkansas. She will run in '08. She`ll announce in Arkansas to appear more "middle-America" she`s already transformed herself into a moderate senator, check her senate voting record. Morris said he`d run Condi Rice against her. He said Guiliani would beat her, but would never get the nomination because of his RINO status. Condi, on the other hand, is a "social conservative" in his opinion, and although she`s never run for office, being the National Security Advisor during war time trumps any senate seat. I like Dick Morris, and respect his opinion, still though there is something to be said for enduring an election as a candidate.
