Dwayne Romine and his 12-year-old son Greg look over a strange item they found while searching for deer tracks near Indianola.
Apparently, a slooooooow news day in McAlester. In other local news, a nearby rancher found a cow pattie in his field.

If this is Red State news, maybe all of those New Yorkers have a point.

Hmmm. I'd have to guess its part of a Cow Tools exhibit, or Cartman's anal probe.

When held flat, the object's metal bands made an outline something like a steer's head, with horns sticking out of the side of the head instead of the top."....The Romine's took the object home and began noticing strange things happening around the house soon after. The toilet water turned to blood and a low, gruff voice could be heard telling the family to "return the sacred amulet from whence it came".
Not knowing what to make of it, Dwayne Romine nailed the object to the wall and now uses it as a paper towel dispenser."

Maybe it's never been "cow country" but surely they must realize that there could have been someone nearby who had a milk cow or two.
Yep. Slow news day.

It's "folks" like this that make educated Oklahomans look bad. However, I could go to NY and very easiy find people with hideous grammar skills. Consequently, I'm very sure these people have a good number of skills I don't have. (I hear farming is gruelling work.)

And to think people say that your state never did anything good for the country besides supporting the president.

It is old fashioned barbwire.
They have a collection of them at the Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma City.
