Hello. A year ago my beloved cousin was killed in a car accident. Today, I was on google and happened to think of the tragedy. I googled her name and found your site. this is the link: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1012399/posts?page=9
I do not see why you people have to make an issue out of her death. not everyone was disrepsectful, but as you can see some were.
I am not a political person - I'm not a liberal. but come on - why do you have to make fun of the dead? would you like it if I posted about your dead mother or brother so that others could lampoon and crack jokes about her political belifs?
do you have any respect for her family?
I was quite saddened to see people who never met this girl judge her. I dont care if you disagree with her political, grow up.
Somethings you just have to ignore and take the highroad - making fun of a tragic event serves no purpose other than to highlight your own idiocy.

Its easy to judge someone when they act like an idiot in public
Perhaps you need to take some of your own advice.
I am saddened by the loss of your beloved cousin. If she was.
Go peddle your guilt elsewhere.

It's quite easy to navigate this site. You can click on a username in any thread, and it will allow you to respond to any poster.
Instead of attacking the entire board, you should send specific responses.
No one on this board is happy about your relative's death, but you're not gonna get a lot of mileage here trying to defend her political views.
well, take the highroad. put aside your hate - someone who was loved died. have some respect.
yes, many of the comments were non-critical, but many others were not.
Wow, Sorry about your Cos, but man, you just generally lumped a whole lot of posts that were not critical at all, into the negative. I think I saw some pretty compassionate remarks as well. Why didn't you comment on that? Why didn't you say thanks for that instead of just launching into a negative diatribe? there are two sides to every coin, and if you are going to bitch about one, then at least mention the other for fairness sake!
Yea,I don't remember the article, but I was fully prepared to see some stupid (lefty deserved it) type of stuff. We take heat on this forum because the First Amendment provides freedom for people to make asses of themselves with heartless statements.
Frankly, I was pleased how many of the posts wished comfort for her family, regardless of her politics. Like Mr. Creel's post, I note that most of the posts had to do with comfort and sadness over your cousin's loss.
I think you need to look elsewhere for a whipping boy...
A very small minority. ....Certainly not enough to condemn the website as a whole. Instead of starting a thread to whine about it a year later you should've addressed the individual posters on the offending thread in question. ......and now that you're a member you can still do it.
So life is precious and should be defended and protected. Did this mean she was against abortion?
I'm sorry for your loss, but it's not tragic, it's a terrible accident.
do you really think I'm trying to defend her political views? like I said, I am no liberal - but I am her cousin. she died nearly one year ago and I am still hurt. I pray everynight for strength.
Im sorry for your loss ...This is a website ...many people say lots of things on websites that are insensitive or cruel,(I certainly have)it is a result of the anonymity of it all ....The young woman at 18 was simply doing what many 18 year olds do , Again, sorry for your loss.
thanks woofie.
I am not trying to stir up trouble (I dont even know what this site is about). I was just saddened by the lame-brain comments that some made in the original post.
good to see others have some compassion.
I truely question why you would even come here an bother register just to lay a guilt trip on people that by your own statment are Idiots.... if you are looking for apologies you have come to the wrong place... yeah some people here definatly have some dark humor to them.... that is how most people get thru life.... if you are resigned to taking life so seriously... don't you never get out alive...that was qouted form Eldred Hubbard...
Yes a family members death is tragic... but to expect those who don't know that person to encounter the same emotions show how little you understand of the human creature...my suspcison is that you found this and by your first couple of lines claiming that you are not liberal and have no political agenda is a smoke screen... you will probably run back to your friend saying how mean us right wingers are.. go ahead...I really don't care.. it is life move on.org!
I am sorry for your loss. I have a son, 17, and that's my big nightmare- that a car accident will take him from us. It's a tragedy, and nothing funny about it, regardless of political views.
If she was paying attention... she could be out there today and 'doing-her-thing.
So goes life... lighten-up.
by the way sorry but I ain't one of the compassionate ones!
