I came in when Mahrer was appearantly doing some Christian bashing and making fun of Wyoming and some crap about Matthew Shepard. We can not let the Democrats get away with what they are attempting to do in their excuse for losing. While I have no doubt that the religious right had a big impact on Bush's victory, the Democrats are totally mischaracterizing this election.

They are using "Christians" as the only reason why Bush won in an attempt to not only excuse their loss...but at the same time to demean religious people as dangerous so they can simultaneously energize their base...as they fill them with more hatred towards people of faith.

I hate to say it, but Gay marriage was not on my mind when I pulled the lever. And the last time I checked, the Marriage Amendments not only passed by larger margins than what Republicans make up in the public at large...they also passed in liberal states, such as Oregon.

The Democrats are in complete denial for thier failures...not just in this election, but in the last decade, at least. Instead of healing this divide, they have now just declared war on people of all faith, as they demean them and treat them worse than the real religious enemies of this and all free countries. As I listen to the peanut gallery laugh and hiss on Mahrer's show, I realize that these people haven't learned a thing..and never will, which is why they have to be defeated...period!

I fall into none of the categories with which libs usually describe conservatives----yet here I am.

They are the most bigoted, prone to stereotyping group I have ever seen.

Asses all!!!!!

I am not particularly religious but I sense that a large
number of conservative religious folks voted not to change
things, to force their will on the nation, but to prevent
things from getting any worse.
