Has anyone else heard this? Would the DEMS really allow him to be Minority Leader?

It is rational to a point.
I didn't know there were any pro-lifers left in a national position. Is he an old guy or something?
Pretty old, maybe ten years older than me. LOL
Is one of the ablest parlimentarians in the Senate.
There is "good ol'boy" Lott, Byrd, Ted Stevens (Alaska), Kennedy, Dodd, Mitch McConnel...Daschle (out), Don Nickles (retired)...
He will be a real potent foe.
Of course, the new Senate will have new Chairmen under Republican rules. Some Chairmen will move to chair other committees. Only a few of the old fellows are exempt and they control the key committees.
The Chairmen have the real power. It will be interesting to see how the spoils are divided.
Get a life.
