You have an artificial tree? But... but... one of the great parts of after-Christmas is lighting the old tree on fire and watching it burn!

When you leave your tree up from the day after Thanksgiving until Ephiphany, you have the possibility of watching it burn with the decorations still on it.

We had real trees for 28 years; From 1976 to 2000 we would take the old trees to the Missouri Department of Conservation Wildlife Area near us where they were bundled and weighted and used for fish habitat in ponds and lakes.
