I'm far happier with my kid story than I am with anything else I've written, though it's vey flawed and admittedly cliched. And putting in fun little creative details is just beyond my abilities. They just don't occur to me, though I enjoy reading 'em! And subplots are good...

I really *dislike* the journal, partly because there are *no* subplots or twists - but I don't have to finish it. Whew! Just hafta come up with one more week's worth o' crap, and then I can work on things I *do* like.

But reading is far easier...

It sounds like really forcing the writing process does not give you time to refine the plot into a likable form.

Y'all are almost done and I have not even decided on a topic for that paper that is due next Friday :P What annoys me is that I could easily fill up 10 pages if I did not have to cite sources.
