Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, those are fun!
I just get the plain Walmart brand...I roll them into cookie size balls and freeze them on a sheet of wax paper, then pop them all into a baggie.

We have all next week to do school, then we have two weeks off! Two guilt-free weeks off! We can't even do school if we WANTED to because they won't be broadcasting the classes!

Shot an arrow from the first bow today...not that I know what I'm doing, but it went straight through the middle of the low bush about 30 yards away that I aimed at. Got to get just a little more arc in one limb, though.

Oh my gosh, am I behind!
Won't bother catching up...at least not now.
And poor Sonya! I know she isn't really prepared to listen to reason right now, but it takes a looooong time to have the first baby usually. I was in steady back labor for over 12 hours before Becky showed up. *shudder*
Things don't really get serious until the contraction are 5 minutes apart and you can't walk or talk when they hit.
Tell her to call you then. (LOL! Just kidding.)
Good evening everyone!

Sam : congrats, a shooter the first time. Way to go. You'll likely find the shooting is instinctive, like a shotgun, rather than aiming like a rifle. Again, congrats.

You know, we always get a nifty tee-shirt when we donate, but time before last, they were giving away OSU tee-shirts, so I got a large so I could give it to Steve. This is the first time I've got a tee-shirt...love the cool reindeer on it!

LOL As soon as I donate one more pint of blood, I get a coffee mug!
