Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

A Joshuaism for you...
Joshua told me when he gets to heaven he's going to make paper airplanes and write letters on them and throw them down for people to write him back. I asked "How will they get the letter back up to you in heaven?" and he said "Well, they can use a blimp, or they can just fold it up and put the letter in the pocket of the shirt they die in."

Died of lds overdose, I'm guessing? In my experience, Jehovah's Witnesses can be a little annoying, but you rarely die from them. ;~D

That was a Spock reference, anyway. I know the difference between Mormons and illegal drugs, at least.

It wasn't a typo, it was a deliberate reference to Star Trek IV!

I hope you are putting all this down in his baby book or somewhere for him to later laugh about...kids are great! I gotta start putting stuff down on paper because I forget so much.
Rebecca's grammer for the day...diagram these two sentences:
Jason and I smiled for our grandmother's camera.
That snake can bend its body into many coils!
Gnad is off picking up the trap again...saw a possum nearby. We are feeding the chickens more food and getting more eggs because of it...seems that they were on a starvation diet. Ooooops!
We really like the tree too. Got it for just under $20 because it was one that had been written off from a fire...I think he just thought our kids were cute and cut us a break.
Kids are off to bake cookies with the "grandmaneighbor" next door in just a little bit...except for baby of course.

If I've seen it, it was so long ago I missed a lot. Which is it, without giving too much of the plot away?

Which is it, without giving too much of the plot away? Whales. Rescue.
Captain of the Enterprise saves the Universe from destruction once again...
Only thing different from every Star Trek you've ever seen are the whales...you could substitute tribbles, Klingons, demonRATS, etc.
Jen's right tho. Best of the Star Trek movies.
