Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Of course, I'll have to see it if only for closure on this 27-year arc...
Add to my list: Game night with cousin, friends and kids after the Express
My theater doesn't often have as many previews as the bigger theaters...the only preview I really remember was for Cars - not SW.
But then...I'm sooo not interested in Epi. III. I'm still very, very ticked at what has become of the SW flicks. I loved the first ones - who of my / our generation didn't? But when I saw Episode I in the theater, I practically walked out crying. ;-)
I liked Jarjar...
I thought one of the coolest things was the Senate...
...and the ET's in the Senate...
Hayden needed help, but didn't blow the whole thing...
...and lightsaber fights just keep getting better.
I's no LotR, but fr me, it's a must-see.
I'll not ask you to come with me :)
I hate my keyboard.
There's a hugh furniture store over in Natick that has an IMAX 3D theater and it's showing Polar Express right now! I'd love to see it. It's one of my favorite Christmas stories. The kids and I went to see "Harry Potter and the Prison of Azkabhan" there. It was awesome seeing it on the really big screen.
The kids and I saw a preview for SW III on Tech TV the other day. It looked pretty good! Yeah, I'll see Ep. III, just to close the loop.
I've seen that before, but I gotta say...that is just soooooooo wrong.
If I didn't see such a big disconnect between the originals and this series, I think I would find them entertaining - though not in the same way as I liked the first.
But the change really bothers me.
However, me likee Ewan McGregor, I admit...
Shouldn't that be "meesa likee Ewan McGregor"? ;~)
Ewan McGregor : YUMMY. Hayden : scowling into the camera at different angles does NOT constitute acting. Natalie : Leia would kick your butt down in two second flat. Get some goombas, woman!
'Morning! Or afternoon as the case may be.
I just got my wireless router...nobody can mess up network settings quite like I can. :)
Army Recruiter School - and what a brain-buster that was!
Test took three hours, and we won't get the results back until this afternoon. I hate waiting.....
Now, is this part of that Writer of the Month thing I've heard about? Or am I way off track?
It almost sounds like an assignment, or a course.
300WM Thanks for posting the note, that photo rocked. HH Knife in Bagdad.
EGE; morning - National Treasure sounds good, we will likely see it today.
Hair; you know, somethings are best learned when relatively young, recuperation time is shorter.
Shamus, long time FRiend, drop in more often, great pics of Amber and niece and the pup. You're brave, sir, adopting a young un and a puppy at the same time, either would be a handful.
Morning OT; did the insulation guys take care of the 'frozen toeses'. Glad to hear you're back on line.
