If I'd buckle down and just WRITE I think I'd get it done faster...but I'm multitasking. ;-)
And listening to Ella Fitzgerald again. Good stuff.

I've got nice motivating J-pop. If I don't understand the lyrics, I can't get distracted.
Ugh, had to cut a scene short because it wasn't going anywhere. Another 650 words...

Four hundred left here, and I'm falling for my leading man again.
*sigh*
And he isn't even IN this scene - just being talked about! And my main character still doesn't like him, quite. But she's feelin' guilty for being rude to him earlier. Won't be long.

Straight out of The Book, Rosie. He said worrying wouldn't add an inch to our height, so what's the point?
We're very fortunate that our God is so keen on showing off a bit when He wants to, in order to prove His Glory & Power to us and others.
It makes for some close shaves, but wonderful testimonies. *grin*

I'm hopeless... my character is dithering (she hasn't known him for more than a week or so at this point) but I've made up my mind. Sigh. Of course, I know who he really is and she doesn't, so that helps, but...
We really shouldn't be doing this to ourselves, should we?
Ok, now she's fleeing from the press... good... and all the plants got shipped in three days early, and she hasn't resolved her feelings yet. Let's see what we can get out of this.

We really shouldn't be doing this to ourselves, should we? Heh...and I had my character go off for several pages earlier about this very subject: writing about nice men when in real life there's a shortage.
At least I can provide for her...

300 words left...
We should compare whose obsessing is worse. At least your guy isn't trying to be Mr. Perfect. My male lead is supposed to be snarky, for cryin' out loud, but he's acting like the love interest in a Jane Austen novel! Honestly!

I need to give him faults, though. So far he IS Mr. Perfect. Heck, I even have him mowing the lawn of an elderly neighbor. His main fault is that he's overly extroverted.
But then...making him more imperfect might actually make him MORE appealing. So maybe that's a bad idea.

I've got enough energy for one quick game of
JewelQuest and then I'm off to bed.

40 words more... I inviegled her an invitation to have lunch with the cook. Now she can get some of the low-down. Maybe. Or maybe not.
