The Hobbit Hole XVII - A new road or a secret gate...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A new road or a secret gate...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Oh now I am going to have 'a capitol ship for an ocean trip...' in my head for the rest of the day.

How does a window blind wallop anyway?

Mmmmm...chocolate...

I'm back down to my lowest weight, though I haven't lost anything additional. Does that mean I can cheat again?

Don't answer that...

I got enough of them when I thought they were a sometimes OK alternative. Now I could write a paper on what makes them bad and I can't stand watching them any longer than how long it takes for the first character to say something.

Chocolate. You evil person. I'm going to have to do something... give you an earworm, maybe.

The Oompa Loompas make pretty good chocolate...

The day I realized the dub actors oftn can't even pronounce their character's name... well, I'm just glad my pals who intro'd me were snobs.

Ok ok I will consider myself yelled up. But I have literal piles of stuff to watch and my FMA is somewhere burned on a DVD... I am not even sure if I have much of it and I prefer to avoid downloading more of something that has been released. So I will start watching FMA when you start watching SailorMoon live action. :D

But... nine out of ten fans I've talked to agree, it may well be the best. Ever. Because it doesn't ever get less good.

And I don't like live-action tv. The people aren't pretty enough.

I can only get in an episode or two a night, so it's slow going.

But it lasts longer this way.

I'm definitely sucked in at this point...mostly (as I said) 'cause of Takuto.

How do you turn Oompa Loompas into chocolate? Is there a trick to it?

What, you've got the Oompa-Loompa song, too?

I will drive it out with a few run-throughs of hymns. "Oh For a Thousand Tongues to Sing" usually works.

Takuto's v. cute, isn't he? Sigh... anime doesn't have nearly enough cat-boys. Speaking of which I am really truly going to loan you my Fruits Basket dvds soon.
