hehehe... well whaddya know. The bartender just confirmed that Greta is in fact staying here.
Funnier yet... he tells me I was even here in the lobby bar last night when she came in and sat down only several seats away. I remember it now that he said who she was, but I sure didn't recognize her at the time. She was sitting with a crowd of people.
Funny.
This Greta? Are you near the Peterson trial? I suppose you are!
Heh... the night we ended up in a bar with Steven Spielberg, Richard Dreyfus, Holly Hunter and John Goodman we didn't realize it either....it was just a big group of people in the corner.... Someone had to point them out, and we ~knew~ the movie crew was in town.
And I was sitting on a donut.
yah... that's the one. I remember who the bartender was talking about, and I remember even looking over that way a few times. It never clicked in that it was her.
This hotel is in Redwood City, just north of Menlo Park. Redwood City courthouse is where the peterson trial is going on. It's only a couple of miles from here.
I have a big crush on Dan Abrams ;~D

Dan is with MSNBC now, and I know he's there somewhere covering Peterson.
There's a huge crowd in here tonight. Probably some unrelated conference of some kind, but now I can't help but scan the crowd looking for familiar faces.
It's kinda fun. Like playing 'where's waldo' only with real people.
ah... there she is. just walked in with another woman (who, by the way is *wow*), sitting now at a table about 20ft away. The hotel staff are fawning appropriately. I think they have their own dedicated waiter. Ah... now a couple of guys and another woman join them. Probably producers and such.
Note: Greta is a lot smaller in person. She's tiny. If you're watching her on a 20" TV... that's about life size.
LOL! That's appropriate, because she reminds me of Beth.

Just now getting on FR for the night. Had a Biology lab for Clare this afternoon, along with a group of h/sers, then had 'Meet the Teachers' night at Joseph's high school. He's beginning to re-adjust to school after his three year hiatus. He did all right this first 9 wk. session, but we've told him we expect better next grade report. Crack the whip and all that; but he's a smart kid and he can do the work!
