I was a Republican poll checker in Pelham NH yesterday, the party was totally unorganized. The Demoncrats were very well organized and were all bussed in from Massachusetts, they were given frequent breaks and were supplied lunch and had a person at everysingle table. For well over an hour it was just my mother and I covering 8 tables, and my mother is 70 yrs old, if we took a five minute break it meant that there was no coverage. On top of all of that the Demoncrat checkers were very rude and obstructive to us. Anyway, the town of Pelham is very pro-Bush and there was a great Republican turn out.
Later I went to vote at my polling place in Nashua at 5:00 and I only had to wait about 30 seconds to get my ballot. But the line for same day registration was HUGE, and they all looked like they were bussed in from the nearby welfare housing complex. And they were all being organized by a smarmy looking lib who was wearing a huge "Proud to be a Liberal" button on his suede elbow patched tweed jacket.
There were plenty of Bush sign holders out front including a local teacher, he says he gets so much crap at work it's unbelievable, god bless him.
