Heh. I think it's safe to call it.
Good for him. He should have won in 2002.

Thanks guys!
Jindal's going to be my congressman. Whoohoo!
Vitter is getting 53% of the vote too. may not need a runoff. KEEP ROLLING W!!
Didn't know Jindal was running. This is very good news.
As a black person, I'm eager to see more people of color in the GOP. Don't look at me--I don't have the nerves to handle all this stress.
But it'll be good for America to have racial and ethnic diversity in both parties. And this is one black guy who can't imagine voting for a Democrat president--unless they'd run Lieberman, anyway.
I really hope Vitter's numbers hold. With Blanco as governor, we need some good representation out there to speak for our state.
I grew up here, in fact sitting in Baton Rouge watching the results come in. Dallas is my home, home of the President.
Your right, Blanco is doing a terrible job. GOOD LUCK.
Any update on Vitter??? If he gets 50% this will be a Louisiana miracle. Can this really be??? Is New Orleans holding back?
ITS DONE
Vitter, David Rep 604,760 51.95
John, Chris Dem 342,477 29.42
Jindal, Bobby Rep 149,281 78.19 WINNER
hope you saw numbers, see post 18. Jindal wins and vitter up by 300K
